The name of the newest addition in the Black Panther villain is Namor The Sub-Mariner. Who is Namor you may ask?
Namor is the ruler of Atlantis, who is the Marvel equivalent of DC’s Aquaman. One thing to notice is that Namor was essentially the inspiration of Aquaman.
However, unlike Aquaman, the human and mutant hybrid is nothing close to a hero, but a vicious anti-hero/ villain as portrayed by the comics.

Namor’s full name is Namor McKenzie, which essentially means “the avenging son” and he’s also known by names like The Sub-Mariner and King Namor. Namor is a humanoid and has been a member of several superhero groups like X-Men, Illuminati, Avengers, Defenders, etc.
Namor was born to a human father named Leonard McKenzie and Atlantis mother Princess Fen. Being a half-human- half Atlantean humanoid, Namor is stronger than any normal human or Atlantean. Namor has fought a number of vicious, strong beings and has remained unscathed due to his aquatic strength.
Namor also has telepathic abilities which were inherited from his Atlantean heritage. In addition to all of this, Namor’s lifespan is also much longer than a normal human or Atlantean since he was born multiple decades ago and still showed no signs of aging.
Namor, who is the villain in Black Panther 2, has always been in rivalry with Black Panther’s world in the comics. He has always been the antagonist in the rivalry, which began way back in the 2012 Avengers vs X-Men crossover movie. Namor had invaded Wakanda with an intention of killing every human, so only the humanoid mutants could rule the world, which had put the kingdom in massive distress. Since then, the rivalry between T’Challa and Namor began.
