The first character the trailer hints is Doctor Strange himself. Yes, you heard it right. As we know, the new movie will be introducing multiple variants of Doctor Strange. 

Moreover, at the end of the Doctor Strange 2 trailer, we found a zombie variant of Doctor Stephen Strange. So, this ignites the question that is it possible that our Doctor Strange would step into the clutches of the Darkhold book and it would corrupt him? Well, we don’t know as of now. 

The second character who will add a pinch of evilness to the plot is Scarlet Witch aka Wanda Maximoff. The Wanda Vision series presented a crystal clear picture that Wanda can push her limits to the extreme to bring back her children. Moreover, in the Super Bowl TV episode, we saw a zombie version of Wanda. So, she may be the main villain in Doctor Strange 2.
