YouTuber and Minecraft Streamer Technoblade took his last breath on June 30, 2022, fighting his fourth-stage cancer battle!!
With more than 11 million subscribers, Technoblade was a name for Minecraft Videos on YouTube. The Popular American Youtuber’s death at 23 has sent shock waves to his fan community.
We recently got an update from his dad announcing his death, and we are heartbroken!!
The death at such an early age is a shocker to his family, who are releasing an emotional farewell!!! His love and passion for the game and his creativity made his community of over 11 million subscribers in almost a decade only.
Technolblade, whose real name is Alex, seemed to be living for his fans even on his deathbed, as he spent his last few hours writing a letter to his fans which could be read by his dad when he is gone!! Merely 8 hours after finishing this letter, we lost our favourite Technoblade!
He was struggling with cancer. But what type of cancer did Technoblade have? Here is all we know.
The Diagnosis – What type of cancer did Technoblade have?
The YouTuber did not have it any easy once he was diagnosed with cancer. The experiences shared with him are harrowing.
As mentioned by the YouTuber, he experienced extreme soreness in his right arm, which he took lightly, assuming it was nothing but an outcome of stress.
Long hours of online gaming, too, might result in this was the probability assumed by the popular YouTuber, which in reality was not the case.
The increased swelling made Alex book an appointment with the doctor for a diagnosis. It was after numerous tests and scans by the doctors that the news was broken to his family.
Technoblade had a tumour which was the reason for the swelling in his right arm. The chemotherapy sessions followed immediately post the diagnosis.
But what type of cancer did Technoblade have?
The doctors have been constantly doing tests to trace the cancer in Technoblade, but the cancer is not detectable.

The popular YouTuber’s family revealed how Technoblade handled this entire situation. There was not a complaint from him. He was always up with his strategic mindset and tried to beat what he knew was never possible. Yet he fought knowing the impossible odds, and his family is very proud of him. So are we!!!
The Last Goodbye
It was on July 1, 2022, when the last video was uploaded on the YouTuber’s channel where his father read out the letter written by Technoblade for his fans, which goes as:
‘so long nerds.’
“Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you’re watching this, I am dead. So let’s sit down and have one final chat. My real name is Alex. I had one of my siblings call me Dave one time in a deleted video from 2016 and it was one of the most successful pranks we’ve ever done. Thousands of creepy online dudes trying to get overly personal going, ‘Oh hey, Dave, how’s it going?'”
Going further, he also thanked his community for being by his side and for whose support his siblings could have a better future ahead.
To end this excerpt, the last lines from our very favourite Technoblade were:
“I hope you all go on to live long, prosperous, and happy lives because I love you guys. Technoblade out.”
