Assassin’s Creed: What Happened to Juno?

If you have been into the world of Assassin’s Creed, you may be wondering what happened to Juno? Well, the answer is a bit twisted. But, no worries as Sassyshows is here. Read the complete article to know what happened to Juno.

Players were initially exposed to Juno in the early days of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Juno, a powerful entity from the past, was revealed after Assassin’s Creed III to be on his way to becoming the series’ next great villain. On the other hand, Juno mainly had vanished in Assassin’s Creed Origins. So, what happened to Juno?

Juno’s unexpected departure from video games is due to the franchise’s comics, which tell the rest of her narrative, which may surprise some fans.

Although this isn’t the first time Assassin’s Creed has increased their knowledge through other ways, individuals who have just played the games are likely unaware of Juno’s fate.

Juno was first presented during Ezio’s period in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood as a member of the Isu, or Those Who Came Before, an ancient and powerful species that evolved and dominated the Earth millennia ago.

Assassin’s Ceeed Juno was one of the few Isu who utilized her sophisticated technology to connect with the many Assassins in the series across time, attempting to prevent Humanity from repeating the same mistakes that caused her own race’s destruction.

However, Juno is shown to have deceived both humans and her other Isu during Assassin’s Creed III. Desmond Miles frees Juno when he sacrifices his life to rescue the world in the modern-day.

Desmond dies, trusting that his Assassin friends can handle any plot Juno concocts, but his narrative is far from over.

Juno then emerges in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag as a ghost, hidden in the nooks and crannies of technology and unable to take concrete form.

Sage, a human reincarnation of Juno’s long-dead spouse Isu, Aita, who wishes to help Juno regain a stable physical form, assists her.

Hundreds of Sages arose throughout human history, many of whom were distinguished by heterochromia.

This portion of Juno’s tale continues in each game in the series until her final appearance in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, where she tries, albeit unsuccessfully, to obtain a physical body.

Assassin’s Creed Juno’s narrative is now being told in the form of a comic book series called Assassin’s Creed Revolt.

Here, the Assassin and their erstwhile adversaries, the Templars, collaborate on a brief ceasefire against Juno’s followers, the Order of the First Will.

Elijah, a young man who turns out to be not only Desmond Miles’ illegitimate son but also (in a weird twist of destiny) the most youthful, get caught in the between.

Richmond, a representative of the Instrument of the First Will, was dispatched to abduct Elijah to force him to assist in Juno’s rebirth. Juno ultimately gets the body she’s always wanted, thanks to Elijah’s Sage DNA and an Isu artifact known as the Shroud of Eden.

However, Richmond murdered Elijah’s mother, and Elijah was concealing the truth that he had silently sworn revenge on Richmond and Juno. When Juno eventually gets her new body, Elijah betrays her by murdering Richmond on his own and assisting Charlotte De La Cruz in killing Juno with the legendary Hidden Blade.

Many fans aware of Assassin’s Creed Juno’s fate are perplexed as to why such a pivotal plot arc for the franchise was tied up in comics, with some claiming it was a mistake on Ubisoft’s side.

Since the Rebellion, some suggested that the creators just wanted to focus their efforts on all the new tales for the future of Assassin’s Creed because they launched the series around the same time as Assassin’s Creed Origins, which was somewhat of a soft relaunch for the franchise.
