Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular sorcerer, with Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch playing the film’s villain.

The movie majorly focuses on Wanda, who is simply trying to gain the multiverse-jumping powers of Xochitl Gomez’s America Chavez so that she can be with her children?

Wanda’s aims are good, but her methods to get there are terrible and tragic. But, if you have watched the movie, one thing may be confusing you – Where is Vision? Well, here is a crazy Doctor Strange 2 theory that reveals the truth.

Following the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, most Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are asking themselves this question.

In the new MCU film, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) seeks to leave her reality behind to live with her twin boys, Billy and Tommy.

Last year’s WandaVision introduced those characters who were a big part of Wanda’s idyllic suburban world. Despite its close association with WandaVision, Multiverse of Madness scarcely mentions Wanda’s spouse, Vision (Paul Bettany).

Crazy Doctor Strange 2 Theory!!

Doctor Strange 2 theory says Vision might not live in the same Illuminati-controlled realm as Wanda Maximoff in Multiverse of Madness.

The user claims that “Reed Richards was successful in creating Ultron in this universe.” If Ultron never turned evil, the Illuminati did not need to build Vision as a countermeasure.

If that’s the case, it explains why Wanda Maximoff never looks for Vision in the Multiverse of Madness. Suppose Wanda is conscious that Billy and Tommy exist on Earth-838. In that case, it is reasonable to conclude she is also aware that Vision does not.

Unusually, Vision is left out of Wanda’s plans in Multiverse of Madness. Wanda’s wish to discover a reality where only Billy and Tommy live might be interpreted as a hint that she has accepted Vision’s death.

As per the Doctor Strange 2 theory, it’s also possible that Wanda’s idea to team up with Billy and Tommy in another universe is only the beginning. For all we understand, the character may be looking for a world that includes both Vision and her boys.

She solely concentrates on the Illuminati dimension in the film since it is there that America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) winds up after fleeing into the multiverse with Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch).

So it’s worth considering the idea that Wanda never planned to make Earth-838 her permanent home. Instead, she could have intended to discover a reality where she could live happily with Billy, Tommy, and Vision. However, we may never know if that was the case.

The Opposite Side Of The Coin

WandaVision hinted at the possibility of White Vision returning in the close (or far) future. The reality that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness doesn’t recognize that fact may have irritated some MCU fans.

Still, it doesn’t rule out the possibility of the character returning. However, given Vision’s disappearance in Multiverse of Madness, it is reasonable to believe this idea is valid. It may not be a satisfactory explanation for Vision’s absence from the MCU film. Still, it does clarify why he most likely never existed on Earth-838.
