In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rish Shah, who plays a major ms Marvel character, expressed his desire to meet the Winter Soldier!
Rish Shah, who plays Kamran in the MCU, believes that Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes may impart some wisdom to his character.
He says, if Kamran, a character in Ms. Marvel, could meet anyone from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it would have to be Bucky Barnes.
This Ms Marvel character moves Winter Soldier: Rish awes Bucky!
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, a question was raised to him if Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige were to theoretically give a green light, with whom the Ms Marvel character would like to team up?
On that, Rish Shah answered, “…if I were to ask for a wish, it would be to have Kamran interact with Bucky in some way or form. “I feel like he could learn a lot from the Winter Soldier, so that would be really cool.”
Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier, was last portrayed by Sebastian Stan in Disney+’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
He also suggested it’s probably a good idea to play up a mentor-student dynamic between Kamran and Kamala’s Pakistani ally, Kareem (aka Red Dagger), since “he’s probably a good person to help Kamran control his powers from the Noor.”
Metamorphosis of Kamran from Comics to MCU
The way Ms Marvel character Kamran is portrayed in the MCU contrasts with his comic book counterpart, who is also a villain and has never seen Red Dagger before.
Kamran made his comic book debut in Ms. Marvel #13 by G. Willow Wilson and Takeshi Miyazawa as a close family friend who developed feelings for Kamala as a teenager.
Kamran, like Kamala, was exposed to Terrigen Mist, which caused his Inhuman genes to become active and give him the capacity to produce biokinetic energy.
What’s there in Ms. Marvel Season 2?
There is currently no information on Marvel Studios creating a Ms. Marvel Season 2 except for Vellani’s part in the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels.
Shah has publicly expressed his desire to rejoin the MCU despite this, saying, “I would absolutely kill to play Kamran again and again and again.”
Which Ms Marvel characters are returning?
Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, and Saagar Shaikh will all return for The Marvels in their roles as Mueeba, Yussuf, and Aamir Khan, with Ms. Marvel’s mid-credits sequence providing the context for Kamala and Carol Danvers’ (Brie Larson) initial interaction.
