Gohan has been one of the major characters in the world of Dragon Ball. While he played the role of the central character in Cell Games, the story later overshadowed his potential. After Cell Games, the story has just dragged Goku and Vegeta under the limelight, while it has suppressed Gohan’s burning potential.
However, in the latest Dragon Ball spinoff story, Gohan has proved himself to be one of the worthy Saiyans to be under the spotlights as Super Saiyan 4 Gohan is here.
Super Saiyan 4 Gohan Is A Beast
Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Dark Demon Realm Mission! Chapter 13 has officially introduced an alternate version of Gohan, who is a part of a police force titled Time Patrol. The force is on the mission to suppress the Dark Empire from emerging from the Dark Realm.
In the latest chapter, we see Xeno Gohan joining hands with Xeno Gohan of Time Patrol, alongside other members like Trunks, Goten, and Vegeta, to step into the Dragon Ball GT world to stop the emergence of the Dark Empire.
This chapter for the first time introduces Super Saiyan 4 Gohan and reveals the Saiyan has the ability to hold the form if he controls his Great Ape form and harnesses his powers. We witness the best version of Gohan and see immense powers, something we will never see in Dragon Ball Super for sure.
Super Saiyan 4 Gohan is the rawest form of the Saiyans as it yields out from their animalistic transformation. The power and potential of Gohan have reached a new level in the latest chapter and it has made the fans wonder about will we see Super Saiyan 4 Gohan in Dragon Ball Super? Well, the answer is a big ‘No’.
Since Goku’s son has renounced his Saiyan abilities and heritage in Dragon Ball Super, he will never be able to attain such a powerful state that is yielded by his Xeno counterpart. This proves that Super Saiyan 4 Gohan is capable of becoming as powerful or more powerful than his father, but Dragon Ball Super is simply wasting his potential.
So, you may have your own theories on Gohan as Dragon Ball Super is slowly trying to refuel the potential of the character, introducing him as the main protagonist in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. But, in reality, he is still a league behind his father and Vegeta. So, Gohan will have to be in constant training to climb the ladder of power.
