It has been just a few days since we were served by the much-awaited volume 2 of Stranger Things Season 4, and we are yet to get over it.

We all know that Stranger Things Season 4 is just the beginning to the end, and the end will come with the fifth installment of Stranger Things Season 5.
Stranger Things Season 5 Release Date
Recently the show creators – The Duffer Brothers, announced on a show that the fifth and final season of Stranger Things would start getting in action behind the scenes in 2022.
This makes the Stranger Things Season 5 release date near mid of 2024.
Our very own Jim Hopper, David Harbour, has been portrayed in this role since the premiere of Stranger Things on Netflix in 2016.
Since then, we have had Hopper around El as a fatherly figure! Recently Hopper gave a hint in an interview with GQ regarding the Stranger Things Season 5 Release Date.
“I think we’ll [shoot] next year. They’re finishing writing it this year, and they need to prep and stuff, so hopefully, it’ll be this year,” Also, he added, “But I think that’s the plan. So it’d probably come out mid-2024, based on our track record.”
As per the inputs from the show creators of one of the most popular shows on Netflix, the Duffer Brothers, we got an idea that the team will be on a bit of vacation before initiating the beginning of the finale, but yeah, the writers’ room will begin its action by August 2022.
Stranger Things Season 5 Would Stick to a Binge-Release Format
Peter Friedlander, Netflix’s head of scripted series for the U.S. and Canada, when asked whether the fifth instalment of Stranger Things would release in a weekly format, then he mentioned that the fifth instalment would also release in the binge format as the fans are used to it. It seems that Netflix is in no mood to disappoint its fans!
Waiting For Stranger Things Season 5 Release Date
According to a recent update, the release of the Stranger Things Season 4 volume 2 caused Netflix’s servers to crash and made them temporarily unavailable on 1st July 2022, when the two significantly longer episodes of volume 2 were released. Though a disclaimer was shared by the Duffer Brothers to their fans not to expect a happy ending here..!! We all know why – it is just the beginning of the end!
