At the end of the finale of season 3, Hopper is to be seen sacrificing himself to close the gate between Upside down and the real world in Hawkins. However, the teaser of the Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1 revealed that Hopper survived the explosion and ended up in Russia.

Part 1 shows a lot where Hopper gets interrogated by Russian soldiers and sent to a prison camp.

There Hopper plans an escape from the prison by having one of the disloyal prison guards on his side.

Although, the show does refuse to tell the fans how Hopper got into Russia in the first place, and the only hope fans could get is for this question to be answered in the finale season part 2.

How did Demogorgon get held captive by the Russians?

Russia has a deep connection to upside-down films, which were established during the time Hopper was seen in the country.

Hopper finds out that the Soviets have a Demogorgon, to which the prisoners are fed in batches.

There could be a slight chance of Russians using the Demogorgon as a weapon. But that is not for sure because it stays in a remote prison.

The more intriguing question is how did they even manage to captivate a Demogorgon, or even how did they find it in the first place?

We may be able to get some insight into that from the Russians in the next part.

Is it possible for Eleven to gain her powers back?

During the entire season of Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1viewers witness Eleven regaining her powers back.

To help her in this, Sam and government agents ask Eleven to trust them so that they can help her in this task to save Hawkins, to which she agrees. Only to later find out that they and Dr. Brenner are working together.

For instance, she remembers battling with One and everything that has happened in the lab during their battle. That could mean she might have her powers back, but does it?

These questions, along with the other ones, have made fans scratch their head and bite their nails to find the answers to the unsolved puzzles shown in the Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1. We hope these unanswered questions get their answers in the final part of the season finale!
