“I’m not a big admirer of Yellowstone. During a recent interview with Marc Maron on his “WTF” podcast, Elliott, 77, remarked, “I don’t watch Yellowstone.” “[Kevin] Costner is one of my favorite actors. Several talented folks on the cast, including a couple with whom I’ve previously collaborated. I have nothing against them, but it reminds me too much of–king Dallas or whatever.”
After appearing in 1883 as Shea Brennan, they compared the Golden Globe candidate to Dallas, a soap series that aired from 1978 to 1991.
The Dutton family’s trip from Tennessee to Montana was the subject of this short series.

During an episode of “The Official Yellowstone Podcast” last month, Sam Elliott said of Sheridan, 51, “I’d never interacted with him before.” “I’d seen his art and read some of what he’d written.” I’d seen him on Sons of Anarchy and was familiar with him as an actor.
“Wow, how then can one person have so many abilities?” I wondered when I first saw him as a writer in Sicario.

“Nowhere is this more true than in the Western ideal mould of masculinity, where men are expected to comply. It’s hardly a history lesson to dismantle that via Phil.”
Jesse Plemons, Cumberbatch’s costar, said he “laughed” when he heard the critique. On Saturday, Plemons, 33, told Variety, “I don’t know why [I laughed].” “I haven’t listened to [Elliott’s podcast interview], but I have heard it from others.
” I understand that there are some overtones to what he said, but I also believe that you don’t have to like the film to enjoy it, and that’s perfectly OK. It does not have to appeal to everyone.”
