That’s all there is to it; Johnny Depp is no longer Captain Jack Sparrow. Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed Depp’s successor as a producer of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Following ex-wife Amber Heard’s stunning allegations that famous actor Johnny Depp (Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissorhands) physically attacked the Aquaman (2018) actress many times throughout their turbulent marriage, Depp was blacklisted by Hollywood.

Johnny Depp became the natural Public Enemies (2009) almost immediately, losing all credibility for his performance in Willy Wonka (2005) and Ed Wood (1994).

Before Johnny Depp could publicly defend his name, the Walt Disney Company abandoned their beloved Captain Jack Sparrow. Heard’s op-ed in The Sun also cost Depp his role as Gellert Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts trilogy to Mads Mikkelsen.

It has been revealed that Johnny Depp will not reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean remake, much to the disappointment of many. Even if he had been handed $300 million, the actor stated in court that he would not return to the franchise.

This might be because the entertainment giant failed to back up the mana when he was accused of domestic violence. Now, longstanding producer Jerry Bruckheimer has revealed that he is working on a new Pirates picture with a different actor attached. Margot Robbie will be the new swashbuckling adventure’s official face.

Disney Revealed The Real Reason For Replacing Johnny Depp As Jack Sparrow!!

Many people hoped that Johnny Depp would return to his most famous role in the future, but that desire has been dashed…at least for now.

Bruckheimer has also confirmed that Depp will not be returning at this time. Disney+ has replaced Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow.

When asked about the actor’s comeback, Bruckheimer said, “Not at this time. ” The future is still up in the air.” To play devil’s advocate, it’s also been rumored that Bruckheimer is developing two franchise screenplays.

One will feature Margot Robbie, while the other has yet to be revealed. He did remark that the future is uncertain. Thus the outcome of the case may influence whether or not Depp is brought back.

The defamation lawsuit in which Johnny Depp has been involved centers on the fact that he was sacked from the Pirates remake after his ex-wife Amber Heard’s op-ed piece appeared in The Washington Post; thus, it stands to reason that if he wins, Disney could be able to mend fences with the actor.

On the other hand, Margot Robbie is a big enough celebrity to carry the franchise in a new direction.

There is also a slew of heritage characters that may infuse new life into this Disney classic. In this new version, Bill Nighy is also in discussions to reprise his role as Davy Jones.

The end of Johnny Depp’s case against his ex-wife is unlikely to come until the end of this month

So nothing can prevent him from continuing his acting career. Although Disney may be holding its breath for the trial to conclude, both sides intend to move forward amicably without each other.

Even with Depp’s renowned depiction of Jack Sparrow, the latter two films in the franchise were disappointing.

It might be time to explore what the series can do without its main character, mainly because Jerry Bruckheimer has already started filming the Margot Robbie-led Pirates flick. Perhaps Depp will make an appearance in the future.

So, with Disney+ replacing Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, will you watch the new installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean? Tell us in the comment section.
