Well, talking about the plot of the next season, it’s pretty clear that Netflix will be picking up the story from Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton Family novel series’ Book 3. The first season followed the story of The Duke and I, which was the first book in the series. The story narrated the romantic setting between Daphane and Simon.
While for the second season, Netflix picked the plot from the second book in the series titled, “The Viscount Who Loved Me”. The story followed the typical romantic drama between Kate and Anthony Bridgerton.
So, for the third season, it’s pretty obvious that Netflix will not change its way. It will grab the story from Julia Quinn’s book 3 titled, “An Offer From A Gentleman.” The story of book 3 revolves around Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie. So, will we see the duo getting married? If Netflix follows the book, yes!
Though there are high chances that Netflix will book get an outline of the story from the books, it will not copy word by word. In the last two seasons, we have also witnessed Netflix changing the plot to add extra spice and drama to it.
Moreover, in an interview, Shonda Rhimes revealed that Bridgerton Season 3 plot may deviate from the official book, even more. She said, “There are eight Bridgerton siblings, so we are planning on following each one of the sibling’s romantic stories. We are not necessarily going in order but we are going to be seeing each of the siblings and their stories.”
So, with this statement coming up from the show’s producer it’s pretty clear that Bridgerton Season 3 may not walk in the ways defined by book 3. However, Netflix will definitely use Julia Quinn’s novel series as a guide to weave something extraordinary for the fans.
Bridgerton Season 3 Release Date – When Is The New Season Dropping?
