Bridgerton Season 3 Leaks Tease The Anthony & Kate Storyline!!
Simone Ashley, who plays Kate on Bridgerton, has revealed her dream season 3 storyline for Kate and Anthony.
The second season of Netflix’s record-breaking Bridgerton shifted the spotlight away from Phoebe Dynevor’s Daphne and her husband, Simon (Regé-Jean Page), and toward her older brother, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey).
In the most recent episode, Anthony becomes embroiled in a love triangle with two newcomers to “the Ton,” the Sharma sisters Kate (Ashley) and Edwina (Charithra Chandran).
Kate and Anthony were reunited at the end of Bridgerton season 2 after an emotional and turbulent journey.
Kate and Anthony were happily married in the final scene of Bridgerton season 2, with Kate taking on the title of viscountess alongside her husband.
We expect Kate and Anthony to return as members of the Bridgerton family in season 3, with Ashley confirming her involvement in March.
As per the Bridgerton Season 3 leaks, the focus of the new season will be on Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton’s (Luke Newton) relationship.
This would align with Daphne’s reappearance in season 2, including a peek of her and Simon’s young child following their season 1 romance. After leaving Bridgerton, Page, on the other hand, did not return.
Kate’s Statement gives a big Bridgerton Season 3 leak
Ashley has revealed her preferred plot for Kate and Anthony’s return in Bridgerton season 3.
In an interview with IMDb, the actress expressed her desire to see Kate and Anthony work as a team. Ashley had a plot twist in the story: they would have their children.
“I am hoping Anthony will teach Kate a lot, and she’ll become the household’s head and a viscountess,” she said in her response below. They’ll be working together as a duo of small partners. I’d love to see them have a kid, for lack of a better phrase. Maybe it will; maybe it won’t. Yet, hopefully, it will.”
Given that Daphne Bridgerton (Dynevor) not only returned for season 2 but also played a significant role in Anthony’s storyline, viewers may expect to see a lot of Kate and Anthony in season 3.
Perhaps the two will take up Daphne’s role in season 2 in coaching Colin through his forthcoming romantic difficulties. Kate and Anthony had four children in Julia Quinn’s original Bridgerton novel series: Edmund, Miles, Charlotte, and Mary.
Given the Netflix series’ track record of mainly sticking to Quinn’s material, Ashley will likely receive her desire, and their children will transition from the page to the screen in Bridgerton season 3.
Of course, if Kate and Anthony’s children come, they will not be the center of Bridgerton season 3.
Season 3 will also deal with the ramifications of Eloise’s Lady Whistledown discovery and an established primary romance plot centered on Penelope and Colin. As Kate and Anthony take on their new responsibilities as the Bridgerton family’s heads, they will undoubtedly confront new obstacles as Kate’s in-laws become increasingly involved in the Ton’s turmoil.
It will be fascinating to see how the headstrong and astute Kate adapts to her new job as viscountess in Bridgerton season 3 and whether she and Anthony will again clash over the family’s management.
