Amber Heard is all over the media for her famous trial against the Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp. While this trial is taking some shocking and ugly turns, the fanbase of Johnny Depp is signing a petition to take out the role of Amber Heard in Aquaman 2.
The petition has over a million signatures from Johnny Depp’s fans waiting for his win over Heard. But whom did the fans want to replace Amber Heard in Aquaman 2? Here is all we know.
Fans Want This Actor To Replace Amber Heard In Aquaman 2

Apparently, some fans want the Gossip Girl starred Blake lively to replace Amber Heard in Aquaman 2.
One of the petition signers, Tiffany Albert, also stated that Amber Heard should not be given the opportunity to play a revered female heroine.
Blake Lively should play this role as she is the person best suitable for such prestigious characters.
She is a role model for young girls who they should want to be like and look up to.
In one of the trials cross-questioning, Amber Heard even accused Johnny Depp by saying that her role in an upcoming superhero film, Aquaman 2, was pared down due to her current legal issues with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
Removing Amber Heard from the picture would be a risky move for the “Aquaman” franchise, but at least one fan believes it is crucial to rescue it.
However, the producer Peter Safran told Deadline (a news portal) that Heard will most likely stay in the film.
“You can’t ignore what’s going on in the Twitterverse,” he said, “but it doesn’t mean you have to react to it, accept it as gospel, or comply with their requests.” “You have to do what’s best for the movie, and that’s where we ended up.”
Amber Heard May Be Replaced!!

On the other hand, according to DC film Chief Walter Hamada, they are not considering Amber Heard in Aquaman 2 because the onscreen chemistry between Amber Heard and Jason Mamoa is not convincing and gives off an unnatural vibe.
Jessica Kovacevic (Amber Heard’s talent agent) testified that DC has never explicitly mentioned Amber Heard’s divorce from Johnny Depp as a reason not to recast her in Aquaman 2. Kovacevic said, “No one wants to cast someone with that history.”
Also, there are some claims that Warner Bros did not want Amber Heard in Aquaman 2.
Heard also claims that her role was cut to just 10 minutes, for which she practiced for 5 hours daily for several weeks, while her contract was kept at $2 million without any alteration in it for just a small appearance in the movie.
Amber Heard confirmed that she was “actively scheduling dates for filming” for Aquaman 2 before Depp’s alleged smear campaign.
When questioned if she was involved after Depp’s team labeled her a liar in the press, she stated that “communications halted at that point.”
Wrapping up
Evidently, no one really knows if we can see Amber Heard in Aquaman 2 or not, but Ms. Heard is certainly facing a hard time from Depp and the media.
We can only hope that justice would prevail, both in the case and the role of ‘Mera’ in Aquaman 2.
